This is an 11 week course, led by Anita Wellborn.  Class begins Jan. 6th (6:15-7:45pm), ends March 24th.

Breaking Free: The Journey, The Stories by Beth Moore leads you through a study of the Scriptures to discover the transforming power of Christian freedom. Based on Isaiah 61:1-4, this in-depth Bible study draws parallels between the captive Israelites and today's believers. Beth uses Scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small. She explains that anything that hinders us from the benefits of knowing God is bondage. Breaking Free is Beth's life message that she wants to share with you.

Beth Moore-Beloved Disciple

Every Wednesday, 6:15 PM - 7:45 AM, from 01/06/2010 to 03/24/2010

This 11 week class begins on Jan. 6th. and ends on March 24th. Led by Wanda Helms.

Beloved Disciple: The Life and Ministry of John by Beth Moore, explores the life of the apostle John. Beth conveys that John had the God-given gift of seeing a larger picture and that his love relationship with Christ profoundly influenced everything he did and wrote.

As the other disciples were martyred one by one, John remained to write his sublime Gospel proclaiming Jesus' identity as the eternal Word of God. In his three letters John left a legacy of divine love to ignite the passion of future believers. And while exiled on Patmos, John recorded His risen Lord's glorious revelation of victory and hope. John referred to himself as "the disciple whom Jesus loved." Just as Christ took John on a lifelong journey into the depths of His love, He will do the same for you. The Bridegroom's love is unmatched and inexhaustible, and He is waiting to lavish it on you, His beloved.

Sundays  6:00 pm

God Quest is where through studies led by the Pastor, you can learn about God and come to a better understanding of what it means to walk with Him on a daily basis.

  • The classes are informal and held in the main office.
  • The Christian faith is more than a set of teachings or laws to govern our actions.
  • Christianity is a worldview that speaks to every area of life, and its foundational doctrines define its content.
  • Doctrine is the study of what God has to say.
  • The truth gives me the right perspective on myself and on the world around me.
  • Learn more about what it means to be a Christian and strengthen the bonds with your Holy Father.
  • Soar with us to new heights as we navigate the deepest oceans in our quest to know God.

Current Study: Going Deeper

Ever wanted to ask a question during the Sunday morning service? Wish you'd had more time to take notes on a particularly meaningful sermon? Go deeper into the lessons taught through Pastor Barry's Sunday morning sermons. Class is open to all.

When we meet: *Wednesday 6:30pm: Kids in kindergarten-5th Grade

Who we are: We believe that little kids can make a BIG difference. This class is open to kids in Kindergarten-5th Grade.

What we do:

We learn about outreach and missions. We are trying to equip this generation of Christians to not only go to church, but to BE the church. The children learn weekly about the importance of doing something to help someone else. We also do mission projects where we give kids the opportunity to put into action what we teach.

  • *Operation Christmas Child – Each child is given the opportunity to fill a shoe box full of goodies for a child who is less fortunate. Boxes need to be returned to the church nlt Nov. 13th

  • *World Hunger Project – We do fundraisers to raise money for world hunger. This year we have done an empty bowls project and also raised money through collecting change with rice bowls.

  • *Annie Armstrong/Lottie Moon Project – We believe it is important to educate our children about these Easter and Christmas offerings. They go to help support our missionaries around the world.

How you can help: If you would like to be a part of our Wednesday night team we would love to have your help. As our class size grows we can always use extra hands!
