Summersalt Camp

Our week is June28 - July 2nd for Summer Camp!!
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR CAMP> ALL THE SLOTS HAVE BEEN FILLED
Summersalt is open to students in Bridge as well as the H.S. youth.
I need a solid committment for camp no later than May 2nd so we can be good stewards of the funds God has provided.
We are working hard at raising ALL the funds for this trip!
Every Sunday in May, we'll be holding a bake sale before the early service and in between services. Bring your $$ and support our youth!
PARENT MEETING
There will be a parent meeting for registered youth on May 23rd. after both services. Please be sure to attend ONE of these meetings. Contact Dave for more info:

Prison Visit
Fourth Monday of the month, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Carolina Cornerstone's Prison Ministries serves those affected by incarceration in our community. Utilizing Christian values, we seek to break the cycle of crime and punishment. We could use your help via prayer, visits and witnessing. We meet nonthly and on special occasions to provide desserts, praise music and Gods Word.
We meet at the York County Prison at Moss Justice Center on the fourth Monday of every month at 6pm.

His Girl-Bible Study
Every Monday, 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM, from 06/21/2010 to 08/30/2010
Join us for a new bible study just for girls!! Open to all girls aged 12-18 years of age.
8 week Session led by Melissa Kunde, Katie Doty, and Anita Welborn Room 108
This class will end on Aug. 23rd, but there will be a celebratory party for the girls to socialize a bit on Aug. 30th. There is one break day, July 19th, when there will be NO CLASS due to VBS.
This study was developed to be relevant to all girls from middle school to high school age. The subjects that we will be discussing should be appropriate for all of the girls in this age group, but if we find that there is something, especially in the week of sexual purity that is not appropriate for the younger girls, we will break the group up for that part of the class.
We will simply be encouraging the girls to resist peer pressure and to enlighten them on what God says in His word about saving ourselves for marriage.
Mostly this study deals with seven topics that girls from middle school up are struggling with like conformity, self-worth and modesty. It really focuses on teaching girls how to get into God’s word to learn how to handle any situation that may come their way during these difficult years.
