Christmas Mission Prison Bags

Every Sunday, Wednesday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, from 11/11/2012 to 12/16/2012

Help Carolinas Cornerstone reach the goal of 200 bags!!

As part of our local missions projects, we reach out to the prisoners in the York county prison every Christmas with a goody bag of helpful items they don't have access to at the prison. The gifts are taken to the prison on Dec. 22nd. You are encouraged to be a part of this God filled day!

Gifts should be delivered in a Christmas bag and placed under the Carolinas Cornerstone Christmas tree by December 16 Please feel free to add a card, scripture, or words of encouragement to your bag.

Please do not add anything else to these bags,  “extras” will have to be removed before they can be given to the inmates to keep all the bags 'fair'.

MORE OF HIM-LIFE GROUP

An adult bible study group for men and women.

The More of Him Life Group is a unique group of disciples committed to experiencing more of CHRIST in their lives and sharing HIS love toward others daily.

Everyone is welcome in the More of Him Life Group. We are a group, which as one member expressed recently, relates well with each other through our “rock solid” foundation in CHRIST.

• Many of our members serve in various ministry positions through out the church,  and support a collection of mission projects thru out the year. They rotate in and out of the group as needed, something we collectively support and encourage.

• We have been focusing upon our role as spiritual leaders in our studies, which includes following God’s agenda, not our own, and leading others to do the same.

• On October 16th we will begin a study focused upon HEAVEN which promises to be outstanding and extraordinarily insightful. We are all excited about this particular study and look forward to it with great expectation.

• The More of Him Life Group enjoys time and fellowship together, whether it’s through our studies or through social events.

• Our next social event is Saturday, October 22nd at 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM for a Fall Celebration. We’d love to have you join us!

An adult bible study life group for men and women who seek to learn more about God and apply His will in our lives.

Our source is the Holy Bible. 

Our helper is the Holy Spirit.

Our method is to dig into the Word, seeking the golden nuggets of wisdom that He has planted   for us.  Together we explore His truths and share our testimonies concerning His love, grace, faithfulness, and joy.

Everyone is welcome. 

Are you just beginning to think about spiritual things?  We have space for you.  Are you new on your spiritual journey?  We have space for you.  Have you reached a spiritual plateau? We have space for you. Are you gaining momentum on your spiritual journey?  We have space for you.  We have space for ALL who want to come on the road to Heaven.

Nothing you have ever done, nothing you could ever do will match the improbable joy of letting Jesus live His life through you. It is what makes the fire of passion burn so brightly in new believers. And it is what causes the light of contentment to dance in the eyes of mature believers who have learned the secret of the Grace Walk.

Please take Step One- Grace Awakening class before taking this class.

God Quest is where, through studies led by the Pastor, you can learn about God and come to a better understanding of what it means to walk with Him on a daily basis.

• The classes are informal and held in the main office.

Meets on Sunday nights

An adult bible study group for men.

Our group is made up of men who love sports and came together as part of our CC softball team. We’ve grown into  a dynamic life group who sees the importance of being both physically and spiritually fit.

Our goal is to build relationships through sports and the study of God’s word.

Why FIT FOR CHRIST?

• At the end of the Son of God's time on earth, He had staked everything on His relationships with twelve men. All Jesus wanted was a few men who would think as He did, love as He did, see as He did, teach as He did, and serve as He did. All He needed was to revolutionize the hearts of a few, and they would impact the world. ..and these guys were the small group responsible for carrying on everything Jesus had begun. • Making disciples is relational. As a ball team we built relationships and it became evident to me that there was a need to stay connected and hold each other accountable to carry out the purpose of God in our lives. Thus, the life group: Fit for Christ.

• January will  see us preparing for the softball season with work out challenges, and a new bible study.
