Our June 18 fellowship was our FRIDAY NIGHT GAME NIGHT AND DINNER! -- BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!! After dinner, we broke into teams to play our favorite board games. Dinner consisted of Chicken Margherita, salad, rolls and dessert. Everyone had a great time of fellowship and loads of fun!
On May 21 a group of around 23 ladies joined together to create a SPECTACULAR meal featuring two recipes from our recently released Carolinas Cornerstone Cookbook at our "Let's Cook Together" Fellowship.Teams worked together to prepare Parmesan Chicken, Posh Squash, a beautiful garden salad and Cannoli Punch Bowl Cake for dessert. After food preparation was completed, we all congregated to share special cooking tips. The ladies bringing in the five best tips (as voted on by the Women's Ministry Leadership Team) received Pampered Chef items as prizes. The food was as tasty as it was eye-pleasing. Teams were chosen by number, so it gave us an opportunity to team up, meet and get to talk with new faces. Check out a few of the photos taken by Donna Britsch:

Our SPRINGTIME TEA PARTYon April 21 was absolutely FABULOUS! We had tons of fun as we learned lots of things that MOST of us did not know about etiquette -- does anyone remember what to do if you are sitting at a dinner table and have the overwhelming urge to "belch?" Celia gave a wonderful presentation as she shared etiquette rules concerning table manners, place setting etiquette and lots of other tips. This is one event that we will DEFINITELY repeat at some point. To make our tea party even more "authentic," many of our ladies wore their tea hats while we enjoyed cucumber sandwiches, cream cheese/pineapple sandwiches, petit fours & pecan tarts (along with lots of other goodies). It was a great time for all who were able to attend.
Comedy Night and Dinnerwas held Friday, March 19 with over 35 women in attendance! We all enjoyed a fun time of fellowship where everyone created and consumed their very own portion of our custom-made 6 ft. long sub sandwich and some absolutely wonderful side dishes. After dinner we all enjoyed the inspirational message and comedy of Patsy Clairmont. Patsy's message brought home the reality of how much we need to have friends and sisters in Christ....even if we have days when we feel like we would want to trade them in for new models! It was very enlightening to hear her speak about how an ability to look inward and laugh at ourselves or our circumstances may sometimes help us through uneasy and difficult situations with grace.
Girlfriend's Game Night and Dinner- Our first fellowship of 2010 was held Friday was held Friday, February 19 with over 30 women in attendance! We could feel God's presence as we fellowshipped and spent a wonderful time getting to know one another. Laughter filled the hallways as we played board games and enjoyed homemade oyster stew, vegetable and chicken tortilla soups, homemade cornbread, and assorted desserts including blackberry dump cake.
