Carolinas Cornerstone Church

Ministry Serving: One way to truly connect is to join with our church family as we love and serve our city in Jesus' name. Here are some opportunities for you to join a ministry and serve others as you seek to know God better.
"Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you have received." -1 Peter 4: 8-10

CD Outreach Team
CC likes to keep in touch with our families and provide copies of the worship folders, sermon notes, and cds of the sermons when you can't make it to worship, and for our friends at home who are unable to attend regularly. If you would like to add someone to this list, or would like to get a copy of the cd for yourself on a regular basis, please contact Pam in the office and she'll get you on the list so Betty Bailey can mail everything out to you.
Children were important to Jesus, and they're important to us too. This is a growing ministry with lots of opportunity to get involved... teaching, leading in song, drama; we're particularly looking for some help on Sunday morning in classes, and in the nursery! Please contact Lindsey Phillips at with any questions or interest.
Communications Team
Volunteer copy writers, advertising specialists, artists, and photographers, are a great asset in the success of communication. There are many areas of communication that we would like to strengthen throughout our church. We have big vision to be nice and loud with our communication both inside and out. We're praying for God to bring together those who would be a part of making it possible. If you are interested in helping in any of these areas, please contact Kelly Anderson at
Dirt Devils Team
We all know that first impressions say a lot and the cleanliness of our campus speaks volumes. It is the mission of the church's cleaning team to rid our facility of dirt, germs and grime on a weekly basis to ensure a welcoming environment for our guests and members.
Are you looking for a ministry that is vital to the church but doesn’t require much time?
We are currently looking for volunteers (men and women) who are able to give approximately 2-4 hours on either a Friday or Saturday to help keep our church clean.
As of now, we have teams of 4 people that clean on a rotating schedule, approximately once every 10 weeks. We'd like to clean every week, but without more volunteers we are stuck. Please consider starting a new team, or joining an established one!
Current cleaning times are:
Please send me a note if you want to join us, and I will process the schedule to include you. Christina Few

Helping Hands Ministry is a ministry which helps members/visitors of our church who are not in a Life Group, when they have a need. We do all we can as a church to create an inviting and welcoming atmosphere that engages people and points them to Jesus. We like to welcome our visitors, and help them find a place to plug in. If you are interested in being a part of the hospitality team, please contact Celia McCarter at
Women's Ministry-Ladies of Grace
Our women's ministry (newly named Ladies of Grace), compliments the over-all ministry of the church, and meets the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of Women at Carolinas Cornerstone and within our community. This ministry is designed to encourage women to grow their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen intimate relationships with other women, and to equip believers to serve in ministry and draw lost women closer to Christ. Please contact Antia Welborn at l if you are interested in this ministry.
The Men’s ministry at Carolinas Cornerstone exists to unite and equip men to pursue life with God. Through bible studies, and fellowship thru softball men are able to see how to be a “Difference Maker” in the world around them. Please contact Dave Kunde at if you are interested in this ministry.
Being on mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Here at Carolinas Cornerstone our desire is to be a mission center where every member is a missionary. Please contact Kathie Phillips at to help with this ministry. Next trip to Savannah is July 29-Aug. 3 2012!!

Worship & Art Team
It's our prayer that God would draw His people to Himself and any way that we get to be a part of that process is a huge blessing. We echo with John the Baptist "He must increase and we must decrease" so that we, as God's children might feel free to get wrapped up in the loving arms of our Father.
There are many opportunities to get involved in the worship ministry here at Carolinas Cornerstone, from running a camera to playing guitar on stage. If you feel called to take part in what God is doing at Carolinas Cornerstone in this area please contact Fred Stewart at
