Our Program:

The "Rooted" Children's Ministry at Carolinas Cornerstone strives to get our kids (birth to 5th grade) "rooted" in the word of God, and in a personal relationship with Jesus that will last a lifetime.

Our program is designed to create life change within the family. Our program is designed especially for kids to introduce them to their heavenly Father and begin to form relationships with other Christian kids and adults that will lead them in their walk with Christ.

We believe that the Bible should never seem boring, praise and worship can be loud and fun, and that all kids have God-given gifts and talents that can be used for the kingdom and the glory of God!

What We Do:

*Camp KidJam – each summer we take our rising 3rd-5th graders away for a week of high energy praise and worship, games, and bible study. It is designed to grow each child in their personal relationship with Jesus.

*Vacation Bible School –Each summer in July  we go ALL OUT to create an experience for children that the will not forget! Praise and worship, games, snacks, bible study, and LIFE CHANGE! It is a week you do not want to miss!

*Christmas and Easter Musicals – open to children age 4 and up, we teach children drama, singing, and dance and give them the opportunity to use their God-given gifts and talents for the glory of their heavenly father.

*Food Drive-Fall food drive to help stock the shelves at the Fort Mill Care Center! Bring your non perishable items to the church ANYTIME!

 

How you can help: If you love kids and desire to help them grow into a relationship with Jesus that is real and personal, we would love your help. Rock a baby in the nursery, help a preschooler with a craft, or lead a child in games, activities, and conversations that point them to Jesus. We’re looking forward to working with you!

 

KidServe Class


*Wednesday 6:30pm: Kids in kindergarten-5th Grade

Who we are: We believe that little kids can make a BIG difference. This class is open to kids in Kindergarten-5th Grade.

What we do: We learn about outreach and missions. We are trying to equip this generation of Christians to not only go to church, but to BE the church. The children learn weekly about the importance of doing something to help someone else. We also do mission projects where we give kids the opportunity to put into action what we teach.

*Operation Christmas Child – Each child is given the opportunity to fill a shoe box full of goodies for a child who is less fortunate.

*World Hunger Project – We do fundraisers to raise money for world hunger. This year we have done an empty bowls project and also raised money through collecting change with rice bowls.

*Annie Armstrong/Lottie Moon Project – We believe it is important to educate our children about these Easter and Christmas offerings. They go to help support our missionaries around the world.

How you can help: If you would like to be a part of our Wednesday night team we would love to have your help. As our class size grows we can always use extra hands!
