Family Movie Night
Carolinas Cornerstone Church
Family Promise of York County

What is it?
Family Promise is a local not-for-profit organization that provides meals, shelter, support services and life skills training for homeless families through coordination with area churches, social service agencies, and volunteers.
How does it work?
Churches and volunteers are the support system of Family Promise. Churches provide meals and sleeping rooms for the families each night. About 50 volunteers are involved with hosting the guest families each week, including active youth.
How can I get involved?
Opportunities for volunteers include cooking and serving meals, providing friendship, supervising evening activities for children or staying overnight at the church.
What is my church doing?
Carolinas Cornerstone will be partnering with Covenant Presbyterian Church, which has been a host church for Family Promise for over a decade.
Through 2012, we are committed to hosting families at Covenant Presbyterian Church on these dates:
Friday, January 6
Saturday, January 7
