Youth Group News!!

Youth / Bridge Lock In
Fri 6/11/10 6pm - Sat 6/12/10 8am

 
We'll meet at CCC at 6pm and then head out to CiCi's Pizza (on Hwy 49 @ Carowinds Blvd) for dinner.  Following dinner we'll head back to the church for the rest of the night.  Snacks and breakfast will be provided by the Youth Ministry Team.
Students should bring:  $$ for dinner (CiCi's shouldn't run more than $8.00 including your drink); a 2 liter soda to share, Change of clothing*/personal hygiene items, sunscreen,  etc. (Be sure your clothing is appropriate for the car wash!)
Permission slips will be given out on Sunday 5/30 and 6/ 7 and must be returned prior to or on 6/11.
For those taking part in the lock-in, we'll depart the church around 8am for the Car wash

 
Youth / Bridge Car Wash

Cost:   Donations
Be sure to wear appropriate clothing, and put on the sun block!
 

This will be our final fund raiser before heading off to Summersalt.  PLEASE support our youth by bringing your car to be washed !!
***Adults are needed to assist in washing / drying, quality control, and supervising youth holding signs at the roadway (advertising). Please contact Dave or Melissa if you can help!!
All proceeds go to fund students attendance @ Summersalt. Come out and support our youth!

Sunday Evenings

There will be NO more Sunday evening events for Bridge/Youth.  We will resume in August.

BAKE SALE

THANKS to all who participated in and supported our youth fundraising efforts by bringing in and/or purchasing baked goods. (We will not have any further bake sales.)
Summer Salt-If you have not already seen Dave for permission slips and an informational packet, PLEASE do so as soon as possible.

Mission Trip
July 10-17

This missions trip is sponsored by FBC Barnwell. 
 
The project is for ANYONE in the church who wants to help!
-- Rising 9th - 12th graders can participate without an accompanying parent/guardian; as Dave will be responsible for them.
 
--Any Bridge student (gr 6-8) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
 
The cost this year is only $50.00 per participant with a family maximum of $150.00 (what a deal). 
 
Folks who want to participate can register on-line @ www.fbcbarnwell.org.  You will see "Mission Trip Sign Up" on the right side of the home page.

Participants will also have to download and print out the medical release form located on the same site - click on Medical Release Form.  The medical form has to be signed so it can be faxed to FBC.  Their contact info is available on their web-page.
 
If anyone has a problem doing it on-line, Dave  will have copies of all the forms available.
