Worship & Art Team

"Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
(Deut. 6:5)
There are many opportunities to get involved in the worship ministry here at Carolinas Cornerstone, from running a camera to playing guitar on stage. If you feel called to take part in what God is doing at Carolinas Cornerstone in this area please contact Tim Childers by e-mail at
It's our prayer that God would draw His people to Himself and any way that we get to be a part of that process is a huge blessing. We echo with John the Baptist "He must increase and we must decrease" so that we as God's children might feel free to get wrapped up in the loving arms of our Father. Please contact us at if you are interested in this ministry.

Many people think that praise and worship is simply singing songs at church, but it is so much more! It is also a condition of your heart -- a willingness to exalt God and yield to His will. Worship is an expression of love and awe to God. Whether you express your worship by singing, playing music, dancing, Powerpoint presentations, sound technician, or in some other way, we must all remember that we are called to worship God with our every action - every day of our lives.
At Carolinas Cornerstone, our music ministry is "More than Music - We're a Family." The Worship and Arts Ministry is made up of volunteers who have an unconditional dedication to Christ and a love for each other. Our team has the opportunity to be a part of the Cornerstone Worship at an up close and personal level...the end results are filled with an infectious JOY that is obvious to everyone.
Our desire for Carolinas Cornerstone worship services is that all who enter our sanctuary will enter a worship experience with the living God. We believe that worshipping God is a vital part of Christan growth and that worship offers motivation for Christian service. The leadership team of Carolinas Cornerstone places significant emphasis, resources and prayer into developing worship services that are not only relevant, but also enlightening, uplifting and spiritually rewarding. We invite you to explore the opportunites to serve listed and become involved in worship ministry at Carolinas Cornerstone.
Presently, the Carolinas Cornerstone "More than Music" Ministry consists of vocalists, keyboardists, acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitar, drums, sound technicians and video equipment team members. However, it is our prayer and VISION that this ministry will grow in number and talent. In this way, teams will be able to perform and serve on a rotating basis and we will be able to add other forms of Worship Music talent, such as brass and string ensembles, a praise choir. It is also our desire to add a Dance and Worship Arts Ministry. This would be a creative and performing arts ministry dedicated to glorifying God by presenting the Word of God through creative arts and dance. This ministry would be designed to work with and as a part of the overall Music and Worship Ministry.
PRAISE TEAM: Our Praise Team is a group of extremely talented vocalists who lead worship with 4 to 5 contemporary songs on Sunday Mornings at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services. There are always opportunities to for all voice parts to serve if you are gifted in this area.
WORSHIP MUSICIANS: The Worship Musician Team is in place to support congregational praise and worship pieces. Skilled musicians with the ability to read chord charts in multiple keys as well as improvisational arrangements are always in demand.
TECHNICAL TEAM: Our sound and video techs provide critical support for the worship experiences by running multimedia presentations, sermon note presentations, sound system, or computer equipment for regular worship services as well as for special projects throughout the year. Quick learners with a servant's spirit and the ability to multi-task can do very well in these roles. Training is available!
