Years ago I discovered that the answers to my troubles or struggles in life are found in Jesus. His words are the truths that can change how I see life; His perspective helps me make the right choices in everything I do.

Jeremiah wanted to quit his ministry due to severe persecution and frustration, but he could not stop because God's message was like a "burning fire shut up in his bones.” The specific verse detailing this inner struggle is Jeremiah 20:9, where he explains that holding in God's word was impossible, preventing him from resigning.
What if you could pray the way Jesus did? In John 17, often called the High Priestly Prayer, Jesus pours out His heart to God just hours before the cross. He is not just praying for His disciples—He is praying for you, me, and every believer who follows Him. This prayer is more than words; it is a blueprint for how we should pray and live, with God’s mission to reach the world at the core.
The capture of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane is over. The brutal treatment of him at the hands of Roman soldiers is over. The trial that found him guilty is over. The torturing and twisting of his body are over. The cruel fastening of his body to an old, rugged cross is over. The bleeding wounds from his head, hands, feet, and pierced side are over. The retrieval of his body from the cross by Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus is over.
The resurrection of Jesus is important for several reasons. First, the resurrection witnesses the immense power of God Himself. To believe in the resurrection is to believe in God. If God exists, and if He created the universe and has power over it, then He has power to raise the dead. If He does not have such power, He is not worthy of our faith and worship. Only He who created life can resurrect it after death, only He can reverse the hideousness that is death itself, and only He can remove the sting of death and gain the victory over the grave (1 Corinthians 15:54–55). In resurrecting Jesus from the grave, God reminds us of His absolute authority over life and death.
