“Do you believe in Jesus?” seems like a strange question. It sounds like the same question as “Do you believe in Santa Claus?” or “Do you believe in aliens?” But the question “Do you believe in Jesus?” is asking far more than “Do you believe that Jesus Christ existed/exists?” The true meaning of the question is “Do you believe Jesus Christ is who the Bible says He is, and are you trusting Him as your Savior?”

Can I ask you a question? Do you ever start the day feeling negative or that you have no clear sense of purpose? Motivational posters and positive thinking may be helpful, but these are not enough to guide every aspect of your life.
Do you know what you are passionate about? Everyone is passionate about something. For some, the passion of their lives is education. So, they continue to grow in knowledge, remembering that all knowledge is rooted in the fear of the Lord.
How would you like to get to the end of your life and look back over your life and realize, your life made a difference? Would it not be cool to know that in those last moments you said, “I left my mark. I had some significant things occur during my life because I was around.” Or think about the other scenario. Do you get to the end of your life and realize, “Did my life matter for much? Did it count for much? Did I leave my mark? Did I impact anything? Is the world a different place because I spent some years on the planet?”
