Millions and millions of Christians around the world celebrate Easter every year. But for far too many of us the story has become boring and rotten. We have the basic facts down. Jesus was arrested! He was crucified! And three days later, God raised him from the dead. Yet we miss something particularly important. We miss what turns Easter from a one-dimensional holiday to a multi-dimensional, life-transforming way of life. People like Zacchaeus, A descendant of Abraham, he was an example of Jesus' personal, earthly mission to bring salvation to the lost. Or Mary Magdalene, a Jewish woman who traveled with Jesus as one of his followers. How about the crowd of people who met Jesus as He came into the city of Jerusalem, on the final week when Jesus is arrested by those who judge Him?
But we miss that the story of the Resurrection is not just Jesus’ story — it is our story as well. Make Every Day Count!
