​We do not baptize children under the age of five. We dedicate them to the Lord in a public church service where the parents and the members of the church are called upon to live exemplary lives before children and to teach them the ways of the Lord. 

Christian parents are making a promise to raise their child/children in a way that will give glory to God, including teaching them to pray, teaching them bible stories, and about mission work (what that means to young people), and what it means to be a young Christian. Once a child is old enough to understand what it means to be a Christian, then the child can make the decision to be baptized and to continue to follow Jesus as they grow in their faith.
