As Christians, we have been given a command to spread the Gospel, and there is no better place to start than our own homes. The majority of people who accept Jesus do so before the age of 12. This makes childhood a vitally important time for learning and growing in the knowledge of God. Our goal in the Kids Ministry at Carolinas Cornerstone is to teach each child about the love of God and the sacrifice of Jesus in an age-appropriate way. We want to encourage them to walk with Jesus at their own pace with our love and support as they progress from the nursery and preschool, through the elementary class, and in preparation for the transition to the Student Ministry in 6th Grade.

We organize outreaches, fundraising, missions, and our VBS is one of the best out of ALL York County Baptist churches! We believe that the Bible should never seem boring, praise and worship can be loud and fun, and that all kids have God-given gifts and talents that can be used for the kingdom and the glory of God!
‘Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”’Matthew 19:14 NIV
Children at Carolinas Cornerstone are split into the following groups:
Kids secure check-in system
We use Realm Connect to sign our children in and out of activities, services, and events. Realm Connect allows you to sign in from the app and then stop by the kiosk to verify check-in and print out your badges. Please be sure and adhere one of the labels on your child’s shirt (front or back), and keep the other labels for yourself for pick up. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Kids Ministry Director, or call the Church office for assistance at 803.547.7781. |
CHILD BAPTISM AND DEDICATION
Baptism by Immersion is for Kids five+. We do not baptize children under the age of five. We dedicate them to the Lord in a public church service where the parents and the members of the church are called upon to live exemplary lives before children and to teach them the ways of the Lord. Christian parents are making a promise to raise their child/children in a way that will give glory to God, including teaching them to pray, teaching them bible stories, and about mission work (what that means to young people), and what it means to be a young Christian. Once a child is old enough to understand what it means to be a Christian, then the child can make the decision to be baptized and to continue to follow Jesus as they grow in their faith. |
