SUMMER MISSION TRIP (SMT)
Join us as we travel to Greenwood, SC, every summer, to work on a house flip at the Connie Maxwell Children’s Ministries! This facility was built on love and loss by J.C. Maxwell and his wife, Sarah. Their daughter Constance “Connie” Pope had been the only child to survive infancy and tragically died of scarlet fever at age seven. The couple heard of plans to build an orphanage, and in memory of Connie donated 470 acres of land to the cause, making sure that the land would always be used to help children in need and would bare Connie’s name. Over the years, Connie Maxwell has been “home” to over 17,000 individuals, many who have reinvested into the facility in one way or another. The many hearts invested in these children's lives, are the core of their future and we want to help them continue to shape young lives in any way that we can. |
