This past week, Christians around the world remembered what Christ did for us over 2,000 years ago on the cross. We were also celebrating the fact that He did what no other god has done or ever will do; He rose from the dead and conquered the grave! Why? He loves us!

Millions and millions of Christians around the world celebrate Easter every year. But for far too many of us, the story has become boring and rote. We have the basic facts down. Jesus was arrested. He was crucified. And three days later, God raised him from the dead.
When you look at the events that happened the week before Easter, it is breathtaking. But I want to start on that first day, Palm Sunday.
“Share the Right Words of Jesus.” Will you help us? This subject of “words” is one of the most important aspects of learning to love like Jesus because our words and communication are crucial for all our relationships.
This coming Sunday I am sharing a message called “We are on a Mission; will you join us?” Jesus wants us to share with others. Acts 1:8, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Now, when Jesus told this to his followers, do you know where they were? They were in Jerusalem. So, here is the point. He is saying, first, I want you to start at home.
Success is often synonymous with wealth, power, or something that makes us feel significant. We all want our lives to count and not be wasted; however, as time passes, most people realize there is something more to life for real significance.
“John 3:16” is without a doubt one of the most popular and well-known Bible verses in the Christian world. It provides the core context of the Christian gospel, revealing the fact that God so intensely loved humanity that He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross to save humankind from its sin. It has been referred to as "the gospel in a nutshell.”
You know, as a pastor, I often hear people say, “I’m a Christian, but I don’t really need to go to church.” The fact is that life can be discouraging. Work can be stressful... home life can be draining… and sometimes we may feel like we are the only ones trying to live Godly lives! But you and I are not alone.
I was thinking this week as I was looking through some of the stories of Jesus and the lives that He touched. If you could spend one hour with someone within this world, anyone in the world, and it was guaranteed that you could spend that hour with them, what name would you write down?
Pain in life is inevitable. There is no such thing as a pain-free life. Everyone experiences some kind of pain. A wide variety of painful experiences – such as rejection, shattered dreams, betrayal, abuse, illness, job loss, and the deaths of loved ones – can cling to your soul, leaving hurt feelings there. If your pain remains unresolved, it will disrupt your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health as you carry it around with you every day.
